Black Mountain Bikes at Old Spitalfields Market

Teaching an old market new tricks.

On the 31st August we took the Black Mountain roadshow on our first visit to the Old Spitalfields Market in London. Old Spitalfields has had a market on site since 1683 when King Charles the first gave a licence to sell “flesh, fowl & roots”.

It now has a selection of stores throughout the week bringing together small independent traders and local producers in one central location, it also has some top places to eat. The hardest choice would be picking just the one to eat from… or stopping eating from all of them!

It’s a great location. If you’ve not been you should really check it out or add it to your itinerary for any trip to London. The closest tube station is Liverpool Street.

Stand visits for the day were fantastic and we had the opportunity to show the brand to people from all over the world as well as the local London population.

People loved the bikes, they really like the idea of what we are doing as a brand and to see how much fun their little ones could have with them. It was truly great to see.

We’ll be looking to re visit Old Spitalfields again during November, so keep an eye out for the date announcement on our social channels.

Our next events are the Usk Show (Monmouthshire) on the 8th September, and then The Good life Experience (Hawarden, North Wales) on the 14th – 16th September.

If you can’t make those events you can visit us at our showroom in Raglan (Monmouthshire) Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays via prior arrangement.

 Thanks,

Phil
